6 This is ‘cassette tape closet’ by Patrick Schuup. It’s his latest project which is

built with 918 cassette tapes . They invidualy screwed onto a wooden frame.

7 This work is interesting for me because I like the material that he used . I love that every tape is in a different colour which makes it more colorful and creative .

In this sculpture he use a simple objects like tapes with witch is creating a remarkable project . This strategy was useful in some of my projects.

  1. It reminds me of your "colorful friends’ chocolate":)
The work surprised me when cassette tapes are no long used for its original function-playing music; instead, they're screwed onto frames to make up a closet! Compared to other works in the exhibition, the "cassette tape closet" is not only an artwork on display; it also has the real-world function. Through the tapes one can see staff we need in our daily life. It's almost the same with the one in our home, except the tapes on it. It is its unusual structure and concept behind its exterior that make it an amazing art piece.
